Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can I bring my children?
A: Yes! This year we will be holding a Cru Adventure Camp for all ages up to 18 years old. Please see Kid’s Adventure Camp tab for additional information.

Q: What is the closest airport?
A: We recommend flying in and out of Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), which is about 30 minutes from the resort. For more details on transportation, visit the Travel, Flights & Shuttles tab.

Q: What is the weather like in Beaver Creek in July?
A: July is the prime Summer Season for Beaver Creek. Highs of 80’s and Lows of 60’s, and a lot of sunshine.

Q: What is the altitude of Beaver Creek?
A: Beaver Creek is in the mountains and 8,000′ above sea level. We recommend drinking plenty of water on arrival if you are from a lower altitude area and also do not participate in strenuous exercise until you have acclimated to the altitude.

Q: What kind of clothes should I bring?
A: Dress for the Briefing is smart casual. Occasionally, participants will desire to dress up for the Saturday night dinner in sport coats and dresses.
Please also keep in mind, General Sessions will be held in an air-conditioned room. Children participating in the children’s program should wear casual, comfortable, outdoor-friendly clothes.

Q: Will I have any free time?
A: Yes. The General Sessions run in the morning and the evening. Lunches and afternoons are time for you to spend how you would like. Please check out the Free Time Activities tab for some free time activities options.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for our lunch restaurants?
A: Beaver Creek Village has wonderful food and lunch options available to fit any craving within walking distance of the resort! Some of our favorites are Coyote Cafe, Hooked, Blue Moose Pizza, Toscanini, 8100 Mountainside Grill, Metropolitan, and Golden Eagle Inn.

Q: What does the weekend cost?
A: It is our gift to you to provide you lodging, breakfast, and dinners, free of charge. However, you are responsible for your own transportation arrangements and costs. There are also additional costs for the Early Arrival day and the Kids Adventure Camp. Read more about this on the Costs tab.
